“My experiences working with ESL Job Link have been very good. The recruiter always stayed in contact with me when I needed to take the next step in the application process. Also, the recruiter would respond quickly to my questions via text message, email or phone call. ESL Job Link was very easy to work with. I really enjoy working with my school and with my students. I’m teaching in Inje, a small town with minimal English, so I am getting a better Korean experience learning the language and the culture. I work with students aged 5-13, but mostly with 8-10 year olds. I look forward to teaching them everyday and play games and do activities with them. Inje offers many outdoor activities to do, even though it’s very small. Mountains with many hiking paths surround Inje, and you can easily spend an afternoon climbing to the top and stopping at the lookout points. Inje also has many places to play screen golf, bungee jumping, paragliding, river rafting and ATVing. For other candidates applying, honestly, things seem crazy and overwhelming at times; especially in the beginning. But you will soon find your schedule and daily routine and grow to love teaching and living in Korea. I highly recommend a position like this to anyone wanting to become a teacher or wanting to work in the education field. It’s a great year of teaching under your belt and the year truly flies by!”
