Additional Comments: Airfare will be paid by a teacher and the teacher will receive 1,200,000 Korean won for airfare with the first month’s paycheck. After the completion of contract, school will pay the same amount for the purchase of teacher’s returning airfare.
9% of teacher’s monthly salary will be saved in a National Pension Plan account. 4.5% will be paid by a teacher and a matching 4.5% will be paid by school. After the completion of contract, the total amount of pension saved for a year will be sent to the teacher’s account in his or her home country with a year of interests.
6% of teacher’s monthly salary will be paid for National Health Insurance premium. 3% will be paid by a teacher and a matching 3% will be paid by school.
American teachers are eligible for income tax exemption during their first 2 years of employment if they submit Residency Certificate to the school.
